About the position

The Director of Marketing and Digital Media at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) is a key leadership role responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies to enhance enrollment outcomes. This position requires a skilled communicator who can articulate the value of RMU's academic programs and promote the university's profile both regionally and nationally. The Director will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate with various university departments to ensure effective marketing plans align with business objectives and meet enrollment goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to optimize enrollment outcomes.
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of marketing and communication efforts aimed at prospective students.
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of enrollment marketing efforts.
  • Oversee the production and monitoring of marketing campaigns for each academic program.
  • Direct a team of marketing communications professionals in executing branding and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure high-quality service and cost-effectiveness.
  • Create compelling marketing messages and campaigns for the student enrollment lifecycle.
  • Promote RMU's digital presence through effective marketing strategies across various platforms.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of eight years of related management experience in marketing and communications.
  • Extensive experience in managing cross-functional teams and overseeing marketing strategy.
  • Proven background in strategic digital marketing campaigns, including email and web marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with knowledge of AP style guidelines.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Marketing experience in healthcare and higher education is preferred.
  • Experience with project management software and social marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM and content marketing management.
