About the position

The Marketing Director at Strongpoint Partners will play a pivotal role in driving the growth objectives of the company by developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies. This position requires a balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution, focusing on enhancing client engagement, supporting sales initiatives, and refining brand messaging. The role is hybrid, based in Chicago, and involves collaboration with various teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts that align with overall business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee market research to identify market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive analysis.
  • Define and refine brand positioning, voice, and messaging across all channels.
  • Collaborate with team members to create, refine, and distribute marketing content, including digital, social, print, and video.
  • Support Business Units in refining market engagement strategy and execution as needed.
  • Manage website content updates, ensuring materials are up-to-date and engaging.
  • Support Business Development in executing value communication initiatives.
  • Design and implement campaigns aimed at lead generation, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing initiatives support sales activities and enhance conversion rates.
  • Identify new marketing channels and platforms for potential expansion.
  • Optimize existing marketing channels for maximum engagement and ROI.
  • Develop KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Regularly report on marketing metrics, providing actionable insights to improve strategy.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with product development, customer service, and other departments to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years in marketing.
  • Proven track record in B2B Marketing Strategies.
  • Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing landscapes including SEO, SEM, social media, and analytics.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
  • Creative thinking with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and lead collaborative efforts.
  • Adaptable with a forward-thinking mindset.
