About the position

Littelfuse is a leading, global manufacturer of electronic components serving more than 100,000 end customers across industrial, transportation, and electronics end markets. The Director of Sales for Commercial Vehicle Products will lead and oversee the sales strategy and execution for the company, responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and achieving sales and profitability targets in the commercial vehicle market by utilizing direct (OEM) and Distribution sales channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the sales strategy in collaboration with the executive team, Product Management, and global Sales team.
  • Lead the sales team in consistently meeting and surpassing revenue and profitability targets on both regional and global scales.
  • Support in identifying and evaluating target markets and verticals for growth for the region.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Develop and execute sales tactics to achieve and maintain profitability targets.
  • Foster strong relationships with key customers and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Work closely with product management, marketing, operations, and finance teams to align sales strategies.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in senior sales roles, including a minimum of 3 years in sales leadership positions.
  • Strong background in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the production of fuses, switches, or other electronics for the commercial vehicle market.
  • Demonstrated success in selling through distribution channels and establishing partnerships with OEMs.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cross-functional business and key levers that impact P&L results.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
