About the position

In this compelling leadership position, you will plan and direct the work of a team who are designing and developing information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications. The Enterprise Data - Technology Engineering - Director role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities: Develop solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components. Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms. Establish and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Develop programs and policies to ensure regular monitoring and review of performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions in alignment with the group strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.
  • Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms.
  • Establish and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Develop programs and policies to ensure regular monitoring and review of performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions in alignment with the group strategy.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience.
  • Experience as a Director with demonstrated experience leading and mentoring geographically distributed teams while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience building and supporting mission critical applications leveraging industry best practices and trends.
  • Demonstrated experience building strong working relationships with the business partners and understand their business requirements.
  • Experience defining, building, and managing the future roadmap of the products, adopt latest technology innovation wherever necessary.
  • Experience implementing various Agile practices and methodologies, included Scaled Agile.
  • Experience leading teams in SDLC best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, deploying, and operationalizing workflow & orchestration-based applications with a focus on cost efficient use of AWS services.
  • A technology leader with demonstrated experience in building and growing high performing agile teams.
  • Able to collaborate cross-functionally with the business and technical teams to influence certain business/technology outcomes.
  • Experience leading and managing large-scale software engineering projects involving conceptualization, design, architecture, and coding on cloud, preferably AWS.
  • Experience managing budget and proactively addressing budget variances to align to enterprise budget goals.
  • Experience developing, influencing, and implementing long-term staffing strategy.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent; Master degree preferred.
  • Experience with identity and access management is a plus.
