About the position

The Director of Process Improvement & Operational Excellence at Molina Healthcare is responsible for leading initiatives that enhance business processes, resulting in operational efficiencies and improved customer satisfaction. This role involves developing and implementing a business process improvement methodology, managing a portfolio of projects, and coaching staff in Lean principles and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead business process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement MHI's business process improvement methodology.
• Assess program effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Communicate organizationally about the program and its benefits.
• Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities with stakeholders.
• Stay updated on Lean concepts and best practices for process improvement.
• Coordinate with Molina's Operational Excellence teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage a portfolio of projects and educational programs related to process improvement.
• Coach and develop managers and staff in Lean principles and methodologies.
• Facilitate Lean improvement workshops and deliver presentations to promote Lean concepts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in process improvement and operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to assess program effectiveness and implement necessary adjustments.
• Experience in coaching and developing staff in process improvement techniques.
