Director, Product Marketing

About the position

As Director of Product Marketing, you will be a key business leader and part of the Systems Irvine Business Unit whose product portfolio includes optical systems, light sources, sensors, lens assemblies, optics, coating and manufacturing services. You will be responsible for the business for the Inspection and Metrology segment including product strategy, roadmap, sales pipeline, and new market growth opportunities. Your priority and focus are with key customers and internal stakeholders to develop and lead strategies to maximize growth, profit, and customer satisfaction. In this exciting, fast paced role, you will report directly to the Sr Director of Products for Systems Irvine Business Unit.

Responsibilities

• Owning team, product, and segment business success
• Directs the development of company market requirements for MKS Inspection and Metrology market, including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing
• Drive the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace
• Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans
• Conducts market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs
• Establishes pricing strategies
• Collaborates with engineering, operations, and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s)
• Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments
• Is the technical advisor for specific product(s) assigned
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Masters degree preferred
• 12+ years of related experience
