About the position

The Finance Velocity Office at Visa is designed to accelerate our path to building a world-class finance function, shape our transformation strategy, improve our business operations and enhance the impact we make as an organization. This dedicated team drives global consistency to operate as one team to build a foundation that supports the growth and complexity of our business and improves the day-to-day interactions of our Finance teams. The Director Finance Transformation Project Manager will join the Finance Velocity Office to manage high impact projects across the organization, advancing the tools and methodology to build and design capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to plan, execute and deliver projects on time.
  • Own trackers, tools and templates for initiatives broadly as part of Program Management office.
  • Maintain schedules for key touch points and facilitate meetings.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders regularly.
  • Proactively identify, manage and mitigate project risks.
  • Define and document new or improved project management processes, templates, and tools.
  • Drive ad hoc analysis for leadership as requested.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree.
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree.
  • Relevant experience in FP&A strongly preferred.
  • MBA strongly preferred.
  • Project Management certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience in directly relevant program or project management roles.
  • Strong process orientation and understanding of project management techniques.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis team.
  • An out-of-the-box problem solver with solid analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
