About the position

The Director of Regulatory Operations at HCA Healthcare is responsible for designing, facilitating, and managing programs and projects that support the Regulatory and Accreditation Services (RAS) agenda. This role focuses on enhancing efficiency, quality, and patient outcomes through process engineering and collaboration with various teams. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to drive initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop strategic supporting programs, tools, and processes for RAS initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and execute data analysis.
  • Develop strategic documents such as program charters and project plans.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to strategy and project plans.
  • Lead analyses of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Create presentations for senior leadership with detailed data analysis.
  • Ensure program resources meet customer needs, including training and communication plans.
  • Identify and evaluate tools to improve program effectiveness.
  • Facilitate project updates and presentations to business leaders.
  • Proactively resolve issues and manage program deliverables.

Requirements

  • Master's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading large-scale projects focused on process improvement.
  • PMP, LEAN, or Six Sigma Certification required within one year of hire.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience leading large, enterprise-scale projects or programs.
  • Strong process improvement experience in a corporate environment.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Power BI and Visual Insights.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
