About the position

The Director of Supply Chain Finance at MacDermid Alpha Electronic Solutions is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing financial planning, forecasting, and strategy across the global supply chain. This position acts as the Chief Financial Officer for the supply chain, embodying a culture of continuous improvement and engaging with the supply chain finance team. The Director will serve as a gatekeeper for the supply chain productivity tracking process, ensuring that financial targets are met and that the organization operates efficiently and effectively. In this role, the Director will own the financial planning and forecasting process within the supply chain, establishing and maintaining appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). They will lead the setting of financial targets, known as 'Go gets', to ensure that plans are delivered successfully. The Director will also be responsible for leading the Risks and Opportunities (R&O) process, driving actions to deliver accurate forecasts, and owning bottom-line cost actions. This includes executing strategic improvement plans and establishing a clear year-over-year cost per unit view. Additionally, the Director will focus on improving Working Capital, driving actions and execution to enhance financial performance. They will also own the supply chain finance elements of the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Director will partner with other leadership team members across the organization to enable success against business objectives, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic driver. Active coaching and engagement with the finance team across the supply chain will be essential to ensure that a robust development process is in place, fostering growth and expertise within the team.

Responsibilities

• Owns the financial planning and forecasting process in supply chain, establishing and maintaining appropriate KPIs.
• Leads the setting of financial targets (Go gets) to deliver plans.
• Leads the R&O process and drives action to deliver forecast.
• Owns bottom line cost actions and drives execution to targets, setting up a clear YoY cost/unit view as part of strategic improvement plans.
• Owns Working Capital improvement, actions, and execution.
• Owns supply chain Finance elements of SIOP process.
• Partners across the organization with other leadership team members to enable success against business objectives by acting as a trusted advisor and strategic driver.
• Active coaching and engagement of finance team across supply chain ensuring development process in place.

Requirements

• 4 year degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop finance standard work process in manufacturing environment.
