About the position

The Director of Telecom, Media & Technology at FTI Delta is responsible for delivering strategic recommendations to clients by managing project modules, conducting key analyses, and coaching junior staff. This role requires a strong ability to problem-solve in complex business environments and to communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams. The Director will also contribute to the development of intellectual capital and client proposals, while fostering the professional growth of team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage modules of a project or designated scope in client billable project work.
• Conduct data gathering and problem structuring to derive insights and actions from analysis.
• Coach team members in building complex financial, operational, or market models using Excel.
• Translate project scope into problem-solving approaches with limited support from engagement leads.
• Deliver high-quality outputs while balancing delegation of duties and hands-on work.
• Communicate assignments and direction to internal project teams and clients.
• Provide formal coaching and constructive feedback to junior staff.
• Support Senior Managing Directors in developing intellectual capital and client pitches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of combined post-graduation professional experience.
• Prior experience in professional services, consulting, investment banking, or in a Telecom, Media & Technology company.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) in a professional environment.
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI Consulting offices as needed.

• Master's in business administration.
