The Dispatch Supervisor at CCXpress, Inc. is responsible for overseeing logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation planning, and maintaining effective communication with drivers and clients. This role requires a strong background in fleet management and truckload transportation processes, along with proficiency in relevant software systems.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight.
- Coordinate transportation planning and optimize routes for efficiency.
- Manage fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee data entry tasks related to shipping and receiving activities.
- Utilize GPS technology to track shipments and monitor driver performance.
- Maintain effective communication with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders via phone systems.
- Implement best practices for logistics management and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with shippers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to enhance just in time service delivery.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in transportation management.
- 3 years of experience in transportation planning.
- 5 years of experience in trucking.
- 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance.
Nice-to-haves
- 3 years of experience in diesel engine repair.
- CDL A license.
