Display Builder

About the position

The Display Builder position is responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining product displays in a retail environment. This role requires creativity and technical skills to create visually appealing displays that enhance the shopping experience. The position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities, and the builder is expected to produce a significant number of displays weekly while adhering to safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Design and build store product displays as directed by the Department Manager.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, in compliance with company policies.
• Create 20 - 25 displays per week.
• Collaborate with the Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory and submit write-offs for materials.
• Develop a monthly calendar outlining the plan for all displays to be built.

Requirements

• One year of construction or building experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety regulations and policies.
• Experience in woodworking, tile setting, and using power tools.
• Proficient in using measuring tools and basic tools such as hammers, nails, T-squares, and saws.
