About the position

The Distribution Sales Engineer at Siemens is responsible for driving stock product sales within the channel in Arizona, managing a multimillion-dollar quota. This role focuses on developing and nurturing relationships with channel partner organizations, driving sales initiatives, and providing training and promotional support. The position is remote and reports to the Regional Channel Manager, with no direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts to exceed revenue retention and growth expectations.
  • Identify, develop, and manage channel partners to achieve channel goals.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key account decision makers.
  • Perform client presentations articulating the value proposition of product offerings.
  • Provide management with suggestions for improving volume, market share, and price levels.
  • Develop forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for sales channels.
  • Provide product support for various electrical products including residential products, safety switches, and low voltage switchgear.

Requirements

  • BS degree
  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • 3+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driver's license in good standing
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for vehicle plan participation
  • Legally authorized for employment in the United States without employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of power distribution and controls product sales experience
  • 3+ years of knowledge of LV MV power distribution product line.
