The Distribution Technician position at Nacogdoches Medical Center is a part-time role requiring 20 hours of work per week during the day shift. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain supply stock locations, ensuring that all necessary medical supplies are readily available for use. This includes receiving and processing various supply orders, delivering supplies to their designated destinations, and building orders for stock replenishment. The technician will also be responsible for replenishing crash carts and trays, maintaining and cleaning stock locations, and disinfecting, storing, and delivering moveable medical equipment. In addition to these tasks, the Distribution Technician will load and unload materials within a warehouse or storage facility, utilizing hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move materials efficiently. Participation in physical inventory and cycle counts is also a key aspect of this role, ensuring accurate tracking of supplies. The technician will validate access permissions and check in approved vendors, all while working under immediate supervision. This position reports directly to a supply chain manager or supervisor and may involve performing a variety of tasks as assigned.
