The District Event Marketing Manager is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and managing a team of Event Marketers to build brand awareness and generate sales leads throughout their designated district. In addition, they are responsible for sourcing Direct-to-Consumer events, managing budgets, resource planning, staff schedules and successful event execution. This role requires a proactive approach to developing and driving event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow up. The manager will identify, schedule, and plan the event calendar for the team of Event Marketers in the assigned district, ensuring that all local events are adequately staffed and budgeted. The District Event Marketing Manager will attend trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events, managing the event marketing team in generating new sales leads. They will also be responsible for managing event marketing material and equipment set up and tear down, collaborating with local Operation and Installation Managers to grow brand presence within the local market. This position requires strong recruiting and training skills, as well as the ability to track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of events. The manager will be accountable for exceeding sales lead quotas based upon established KPIs and will perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
