About the position

The District Manager at Akash Management, LLC, operating as Wingstop, is responsible for overseeing multiple restaurant locations within a district. Responsibilities

  • Ensure all employees in the district are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total guest satisfaction.
  • Evaluate each restaurant's QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanliness) standards and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Communicate customer comments and concerns to the appropriate Restaurant Manager and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Ensure General Managers and GMITs receive appropriate orientation, training, and development opportunities.
  • Train, coach, and provide regular performance feedback to motivate and improve employee performance.
  • Evaluate overall performance of General Managers and GMITs based on communicated standards and expectations.
  • Provide effective training and follow-up on new products, programs, and changes.
  • Recruit new General Managers and GMITs and prepare employees for promotion.
  • Analyze business performance and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur from financial expectations.
  • Support company-wide marketing programs and evaluate local restaurant marketing strategies.
  • Ensure business and personnel practices comply with laws and company policies.
  • Serve as a role model and set a positive example for the team in business and personnel management.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts for the districts and follow company approval processes.
  • Uphold company food safety, handling, and sanitation requirements.

Requirements

  • College degree in business administration, restaurant management, or finance preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Management experience in the restaurant industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Financial and analytical aptitude, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.
