About the position

The District Sales Manager (Outside Sales) position at OneSource Staffing Solutions involves managing sales activities within a designated geographical territory, focusing on space utilization solutions. The role requires developing and pursuing sales opportunities, building strategic alliances, and presenting value propositions to key decision-makers in various industries such as automotive, healthcare, and retail. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales, particularly in industrial equipment or material handling, and will be expected to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a geographical sales territory
  • Report sales activities to the VP of Sales
  • Present value propositions to key decision-makers
  • Develop strategic alliances with end-user customers and distributor partners
  • Conduct field sales work, including site visits and solution development
  • Analyze sales statistics to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
  • Build new partnerships with potential clients
  • Travel up to 70% within the territory

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of proven success in outside sales
  • Experience in Storage Solutions or Material Handling is a plus
  • Experience with distribution channel management is preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM Systems (SalesForce), Microsoft Office, and social media (LinkedIn)
  • Knowledge of drawing software (SketchUp or CAD) is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and develop strong client relationships
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time
