About The Position

The Division Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational and financial functions of a single division within Waste Pro. This role focuses on revenue growth, staff development, and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The Division Manager collaborates with the Regional Vice President to set annual budgets and objectives, ensuring the division meets its goals and adheres to company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
• 5 years of management or supervisory work experience.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to build teams.
• Valid driver's license; CDL license and DOT Medical Card preferred.

• Experience in the waste management industry.
• Familiarity with municipal operations and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support all accounting functions, including fiduciary, purchasing, budgetary, and financial planning responsibilities.
• Manage all client support matters.
• Meet, analyze, and discuss operational matters with the Regional Vice President.
• Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with managers, drivers, helpers, mechanics, and office staff.
• Mentor and develop staff by overseeing department managers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel and ensure compliance with training policies.
• Develop and review the budget, including monthly needs and yearly projections.
• Create cost savings plans and assist in developing annual goals and initiatives.
• Identify and implement process and control improvements.
• Implement and oversee special projects.
• Maintain relationships with municipal staff and develop new relationships for future growth.
