About the position
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Walker to join our team in Bristol, CT. The ideal candidate should have a passion for animals and enjoy working outdoors. As a Dog Walker, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and exercise of our clients' beloved pets. This role is part-time and requires flexibility, as you will be walking dogs on a regular schedule in various weather conditions. You will also be responsible for providing fresh water and food as needed during visits, monitoring the behavior and health of dogs during walks, and cleaning up after them. Following specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding their pets is crucial to ensure their safety and comfort. The position requires a responsible individual who loves spending time with furry companions. You will be expected to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds, which may involve heavy lifting if required. Knowledge of basic animal first aid is a plus, and excellent customer service skills are necessary to interact effectively with pet owners. Certification in pet first aid or a veterinary technician background is beneficial, as it demonstrates a commitment to the health and safety of the animals in your care.
