About the position

The DOM Production Facility Manager at Sipcam Agro USA is responsible for overseeing operations within the Roxboro Water Treatment facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance in production processes. This multifaceted role combines operations management, analytical chemistry, lab responsibilities, equipment operation, and maintenance tasks, requiring strong time management and multitasking skills to meet production schedules and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Develop plans to facilitate smooth operations and manage budgets.
• Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste.
• Oversee production schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Perform routine safety checks on equipment.
• Receive, label, and safely store samples for testing.
• Determine and perform necessary tests for analysis and report results.
• Organize and store samples according to safety requirements.
• Clean and maintain lab equipment, including recalibration.
• Measure ingredients for production batches according to specifications.
• Operate filtration plant machines and manage extraction processes.
• Monitor instrumentation and adjust valves, read gauges, and meters.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments and inventory.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year technical degree in chemistry, science, or engineering.
• Ability to exceed goals and targets in assigned territory.
• Exceptional customer service orientation and integrity.
• Strong team-oriented skills and high initiative.
• Technology savvy with a high capacity to learn and adapt.
• Ability to work inter-departmentally to accomplish objectives.
• Strong communication skills, including report writing.
