About the position
The Route Sales Driver is responsible for driving a company vehicle along an established route to deliver goods and products to various customer locations. This entry-level position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Loads product onto the truck daily
- Stocks product to par levels and maintains accurate documentation of product levels via appropriate software
- Reports sales, waste, customer concerns, and/or machine malfunctions daily
- Reports necessary maintenance or repairs needed on the vehicle to management
- Maintains, services, and upkeeps cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
- Performs all job duties in a safe manner by adhering to all driving regulations and company safety policies
- Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude towards customers, clients, and co-workers
- Completes other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Previous experience as a driver preferred
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
