The Driver position at Happy Trails Trucking, LLC involves safely transporting goods while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles
- Execute route driving to deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and customer signatures
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization
- Perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes
Requirements
- Valid CDL driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving or delivery driving preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with all transportation regulations is essential
