About the position

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team at HAPPY TRAILS TRUCKING, LLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, heavy lifting, and a valid CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles
• Execute route driving to deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and customer signatures
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization
• Perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes

Requirements

• Valid CDL driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience in commercial driving or delivery driving preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with all transportation regulations is essential
