About the position

The E T Consultant - Agile Team Coach position at the World Bank involves providing advanced SAFe Agile methodologies to enhance team collaboration and delivery. The role focuses on coaching product managers and owners, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and establishing an Agile Center of Excellence. The consultant will also be responsible for conducting training sessions and utilizing Agile metrics to ensure continuous improvement in service outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Inspect and Adapt, to improve cross-functional team collaboration and rapid delivery.
  • Establish an Agile Center of Excellence (Agile CoE).
  • Conduct Agile training sessions.
  • Utilize information radiators and agile metrics to inspect progress and adapt for continuous delivery of valuable service outcomes.
  • Lead scrum ceremonies, facilitate sprint planning, technical meetings, and Scrum events.
  • Identify and remove impediments and obstacles, escalating them when necessary, and drive continuous improvement through encouraging adoption of technical practices.
  • Optimize PI Planning events to enhance planning efficiency.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in business management or a related field with 5 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Required certifications: SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, Generative AI for Project Managers, Certified Scrum Master, Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Proficiency in Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Proficiency in Program & Project Management, PI Planning.
  • Proficiency in additional Agile Frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, XP.
  • Competency in Agile Assessments & Survey Tools (NPS), Estimation Tool.
  • Expertise in tools such as SmartSheets, ADO.
  • Expertise in coaching and mentoring, conflict management, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in an international organization with a diverse employee base.
  • Self-starter and team player who takes pride in their craft.
