About the position

The E T Consultant - Agile Team Coach at the World Bank is responsible for championing the adoption of SAFe Agile methodologies within the organization. This role involves coaching product managers and product owners, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and leading training sessions to enhance team collaboration and delivery of valuable service outcomes. The position aims to establish an Agile Center of Excellence and drive continuous improvement in Agile execution across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect and Adapt to improve cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Establish an Agile Center of Excellence (Agile CoE).
  • Conduct Agile training sessions for team members.
  • Utilize Agile metrics and information radiators to inspect progress and adapt for continuous delivery.
  • Lead scrum ceremonies and facilitate sprint planning and technical meetings.
  • Identify and remove impediments and obstacles, escalating them when necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement by encouraging the adoption of technical practices and improving Agile execution.
  • Optimize PI Planning events to enhance planning efficiency.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in business management or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Required certifications: SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, Generative AI for Project Managers, Certified Scrum Master, Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Proficiency in Scaled Agile Framework and additional Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
  • Competency in Agile Assessments & Survey Tools (NPS) and Estimation Tools.
  • Expertise in tools such as SmartSheets and ADO.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills, along with conflict management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in an international organization with a diverse employee base.
  • Self-starter and team player with a strong sense of pride in their work.
