About the position

The EAP On-site Clinician at Acentra Health is responsible for providing a comprehensive range of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to employees, managers, and the employer organization of a large government agency. This full-time role involves direct counseling, critical incident response, training, and outreach services, ensuring a seamless integration with Acentra Health operations. The clinician will also manage a caseload of clients, maintain compliance with clinical protocols, and foster positive relationships with local contacts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct counseling and critical incident response services.
• Conduct training and psychoeducational presentations.
• Make referrals to treatment services and community resources.
• Comply with all clinical and professional protocols and Acentra Health policies.
• Communicate the scope of EAP services to clients and support staff.
• Consult with supervisors on clinical case staffing and high-risk cases.
• Maintain and manage a caseload of direct service counseling clients.
• Create and manage productive working relationships with local points of contact.
• Display excellent teamwork and collaboration with Acentra Health staff.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Counselor (e.g., LCHC, LCMH, LCMHC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LSAC, LPC, LPCC, LSW).
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in EAP, mental health, substance abuse, or behavioral health.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet/web navigation.
• Ability to pass a federal security clearance for a non-sensitive/high-risk public trust position.

Nice-to-haves

• Cultural competency in working with Federal agencies.
• Active Moderate Risk MBI clearance.
