About The Position

The Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) plays a crucial role in providing care, comfort, and safety to patients in the Emergency and Trauma Center under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This position involves performing routine service duties and basic nursing procedures essential for patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician required.
• State of Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician License, certified Medical Assistant, or State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year of EMT experience preferred.
