About the position

The Education Service Advisor at gTANGIBLE Corporation is responsible for providing educational support services to the US Army Reserve's 63rd Regional Support Command in Grand Prairie, Texas. This role promotes lifelong learning opportunities for Soldiers and their families through various educational programs and assistance, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks and deliverables. The advisor will also provide guidance on educational goals, financial assistance, and general educational resources.

Responsibilities

• Perform Army Educational Support Services at the US Army Reserve's 63rd Regional Support Command (RSC) East in Grand Prairie, Texas.
• Promote lifelong learning opportunities through degree programs using tuition assistance (TA), testing opportunities, credentialing assistance (CA), and GI Bill Programs.
• Accurately complete tasks and submit required deliverables to the Government by specified due dates.
• Develop and submit logically organized and grammatically correct data, forms, reports, and other documents.
• Provide general educational assistance and guidance to Soldiers, transitioning personnel, family members, and Department of the Army civilians.
• Manage client cases and accounts, reviewing and resolving Help Desk cases.
• Prepare and deliver client/unit education information and PowerPoint briefings.
• Prepare and deliver general education information reports and documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in advising or education services, or an Associate's Degree with at least four years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Knowledge and experience using Army approved education services portals such as ArmyIgnitED 2.0 is highly desired.
• Experience providing quality customer service to military personnel, families, and/or Government employees.
