About The Position

The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe workplace culture within the manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management within a manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices in the manufacturing industry
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to promote a culture of safety
• Experience with risk assessment, hazard identification, and implementing safety programs

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of manufacturing processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Provide training to employees on EHS policies, safety protocols, and emergency procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization
• Monitor and manage hazardous waste disposal processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
• Prepare and maintain EHS records, reports, and documentation for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders
