About the position

The Electrical Engineer will serve as the lead subject matter expert, focusing on conducting studies, consulting on capital projects, and troubleshooting electrical issues at various plants. This role requires significant experience in electrical engineering, particularly with Arc Flash Studies, and involves collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Design and/or specify equipment and processes
• Provide technical input for engineering design
• Review and approve engineering drawings and plans
• Work closely with other engineering disciplines on multi-discipline projects
• Ensure compatibility with plant equipment and procedures
• Develop project scope and mentor less experienced engineers/designers
• Adhere to safety values and practices in all designs and plant modifications
• Provide technical input to 3rd party engineering design firms
• Utilize department resources and existing designs in assignments
• Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance to manufacturing plants
• Meet schedule and budget commitments
• Contribute to capital project cost estimates for engineering and equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10 years experience in industrial electrical design
• Experience with SKM Tools
• Experience with Studies
• Electric Design for CAPEX projects
• Proficient in electrical CAD design (AutoCAD, Draftsight)
