As an Electrical Engineer you will play a critical role in our mission by creating targeted content that reaches health care providers to showcase how our products can improve the lives of their patients. We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to work on-site at our San Diego location. As an Electrical Engineer you will be involved in designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating components, specifications and processes for electronic instruments. You will determine the design approaches and parameters as well as analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests and evaluate results.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating components, specifications and processes for electronic instruments.
- Determining design approaches and parameters for electronic instruments.
- Analyzing equipment to establish operating data.
- Conducting experimental tests and evaluating results.
- Contributing electrical, optoelectrical, thermal and electromechanical knowledge to the design of In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) medical device instruments.
- Drawing and analyzing electrical schematics and debugging circuits.
- Assisting in the design, execution and interpretation of complex experiments.
- Analyzing requirements, identifying concepts, architectural solutions, and system design to meet project needs.
Requirements
- 4-7+ years of electrical engineering experience.
- Skilled in schematic design fundamentals (transistor circuit analysis, filter design, power supply design, etc.).
- Experience with Altium or other design systems is a big plus.
