About the position
The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician at Elanco is responsible for maintaining electrical equipment assets in Animal Health production areas. This role involves providing E&I support on all manufacturing and mechanical equipment within Operations and Utilities, performing predictive and preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on both low voltage and medium voltage electrical and instrumentation assets.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area and participate in the HSETRACK EVENT program.
- Maintain 100% compliance on individual Learning Plan and improve craft skills.
- Display flexibility with work schedule to meet business needs and maintain good attendance.
- Communicate effectively with operations and set customer expectations before beginning work.
- Integrate SOPs into daily operations and correct discrepancies found in documentation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
