About The Position

Master level electrical systems work in the alteration, installation, maintenance and repair of the City's electrical infrastructure, wire and cable/lines. Work includes the making of estimates of labor and material costs, the preparation of plans, and insures the quality of skilled and non-skilled workmanship on building electrical repairs, renovations, remodeling, and new construction. The incumbent works in partnership with other employees, departments/divisions, agencies and the public; and related work as required.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of full-time experience in the trade of electrician at either the master or journeyman level.
• Possession of a Class 'A' Master Electrical license from the State of Louisiana.
• Verification of certifications claimed by the applicant prior to appointment.

Responsibilities
