About The Position

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the complex assembly of various products, requiring intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning of parts according to mechanical drawings and work instructions. This role involves using hand tools and machines, following production schedules, and ensuring quality standards in an ISO environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-3 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of electronic/electrical safety standards.
• Excellent workmanship standards and attention to detail.
• Good verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire complex equipment following blueprints and models.
• Adjust, fit, and align components within close tolerances.
• Set up, operate, and maintain basic production machines such as engravers and presses.
• Perform various operations on products both within and outside the home department.
• Build harness assemblies and perform thru-hole PCB assembly as needed.
• Use computers to monitor job status and component availability, including writing to Excel or SAP databases.
• Follow work cell procedures and mechanical drawings to complete tasks.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area by performing 5S steps.
