About the position

The Electronics Engineering Technician role is a contract position based in Aurora, OH, where the technician will perform diverse and complex assignments that support product development and manufacturing processes. The technician will be responsible for setting up and running data acquisition equipment for various tests, conducting experiments, and meticulously reporting and documenting the results of these tests and measurements. Additionally, the role involves leading compliance and quality activities, as well as training other team members to ensure a high standard of work and adherence to protocols. The technician will engage in a variety of responsibilities including equipment setup, manufacturing, assembly, basic testing, and troubleshooting of electronic components. The work will be performed under significant supervision and will require following very detailed instructions to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electronic component assembly, testing, and troubleshooting, along with excellent verbal communication skills to articulate technical problems effectively. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members. A solid understanding of basic electronic circuits is also essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Driver's License (Required)
