About the position

The Emerging Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the front end of the store, managing customer service associates, and ensuring the overall operations of the Pharmacy and Retail Store are efficient and effective. This role supports the Store Manager in achieving company deliverables, leads the store team, and engages with customers to enhance their experience. The position requires a focus on improving sales, profitability, and customer service metrics while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise customer service associates and designated hitters.
  • Manage front end operations and make recommendations for overall store operations.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving company deliverables and assume responsibilities in their absence.
  • Engage with customers and resolve complaints to ensure a positive experience.
  • Monitor customer service metrics and provide coaching and training to team members.
  • Supervise daily store operations, including task delegation and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with external partners for community outreach opportunities.
  • Analyze financial and performance data to create action plans for business deliverables.
  • Lead and train team members, providing mentoring and support for career development.
  • Communicate regularly with team members to ensure open communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a solid academic record or a High School Diploma/GED with two years of supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and business acumen.
  • Completion of Store Manager training program or willingness to complete it within 12 weeks.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Management experience for internal candidates, including supervising others.
  • Prior retail or food industry experience for external candidates.
