About the position

The Employee Relations Specialist works directly with the Employee Relations Manager and supports team member performance management through the processes and tools available. This position helps to maintain the day-to-day support and administration of the Employee Relations department. This position contributes innovative, non-traditional ideas to provide processes improvements to the Employee Relations and Team Experience department.

Responsibilities

  • Supports day-to-day administration of Employee Relations related activities to include but not limited to reviewing and feedback on corrective actions, performance improvement plans, individual development plans and support cases to ensure timely response and performance management
  • Assist with Quarterly Talent Review process, including succession planning and bench development planning
  • Maintains the Predictive Index administration and leverages it to support leaders in development conversations
  • Digs in and identifies opportunities to simplify and streamline process for continuous process improvements, particularly in the HRIS System
  • Produces and submits reports for Employee Relations/Performance Management related activity
  • Develops training and education for leaders as needed
  • Assists in timely responses to employee relations claims and supports investigations as needed
  • Assists in the Exit Interview and off boarding process
  • Assists in maintaining policies in the company handbooks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, leadership, or similar related field and/or experience
  • 2 years minimum of Human Resources Generalist or Employee Relations role
  • Experience in Learning and Development, leadership development a plus
