Employment Case Coordinator

About the position

The Employment Case Coordinator at Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is responsible for providing case coordination services to clients, particularly those with a history of substance use. This role involves linking clients to community agencies, assisting with job placements, and educating employers on supporting individuals in recovery. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to working with high-needs populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide case coordination services for clients.
• Link clients to community agencies and job placement assistance.
• Conduct workshops and groups for clients.
• Act as a liaison with employers, providing education and assistance for supporting individuals in recovery in the workplace.
• Work with clients who have a substance use history.
• Communicate and collaborate directly with employers.
• Support un- or under-employed individuals in recovery in their job searches.
• Connect both employers and applicants to additional supportive services and community resources.
• Provide outreach and training to local area employers about working with individuals in recovery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check.
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance.
• FBI Clearance through the Department of Human Services.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves
