The Employment Services Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the My Choice Employment model, ensuring its day-to-day operations align with the principles of 'Employment First'. This role emphasizes person-centered planning and supports, utilizing a Customized Employment approach when appropriate. The manager will oversee the hiring, firing, and supervision of My Choice Employment Specialists and Job Coaches, providing necessary orientation and ongoing training as per agency policy. Additionally, the manager will coordinate service delivery across all My Choice Employment job sites and service locations, serving as the central point of entry for individuals referred for admission into these services. Ensuring that each new person served receives a comprehensive orientation to the service is crucial. The manager will also promote My Choice Employment and 'Employment First' principles to prospective clients, family members, referral sources, funders, employers, and community groups. Conducting annual customer satisfaction surveys and maintaining financial accountability for the department's budget are also key responsibilities. The manager will explore new funding alternatives, pursue grant opportunities, and conduct community-based assessments with individuals, which may include developing assessment plans, job site development, and writing final reports or employment profiles.
