Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Plan with team members to determine career interests and develop individualized job development plans.
  • Perform job analysis, task analysis, and job matching activities for new positions.
  • Coordinate job placement, job coaching activities, and necessary job supports for consumers.
  • Develop job-training plans with consumers and appropriate support personnel as guided by the IPE.
  • Write individualized program plans, monitor progress, and report results.
  • Interpret results of individualized program plans to team members and managers.
  • Promote successful employment and retention through regular contact with assigned employees and managers.
  • Provide retention supports to Project SEARCH affiliated employees and department staff.
  • Create accommodations to enhance performance and ensure work quality.
  • Plan and execute weekly Job Club activities addressing job retention strategies and social development.
  • Provide training in grooming, hygiene, communication, budgeting, interviewing, and self-advocacy.
  • Partner with departments to ensure compliance for Project SEARCH affiliated employees.
  • Document and report to external agencies for funding and compliance.
  • Develop linkages among agencies to assure effective transition from school to work.
  • Problem solve employment-related issues with consumers, employers, families, and agency personnel.
