About the position
ChristianaCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Outpatient Endocrinology Team. The role involves providing medical management and care for patients with endocrinology-related conditions, particularly diabetes, in collaboration with endocrinology specialists. The position is full-time, with a day shift schedule and no weekend or holiday work, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, direct, and provide medical management for patients in the endocrinology care team.
- Collaborate with Endocrinology Specialists physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage and treat patients with diabetes and other endocrinology diseases.
- Participate in patient education and support regarding endocrinology health issues.
Requirements
- Master's degree as an Advance Practice Nurse or as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience with diabetes and other endocrinology diseases preferred.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
- BLS certification required.
