About the position

The Endpoint Security Analyst Intern role is designed for individuals looking to gain practical experience in cybersecurity, specifically focusing on the management and security of endpoint devices within an organization. The intern will collaborate with technology specialists and the senior security support team to implement, monitor, and troubleshoot security solutions, ensuring the integrity of S&P Global's end user computing assets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technology specialists on significant projects to enhance skills and gain practical experience.
  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of endpoint security solutions such as EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response).
  • Perform regular security checks on endpoint devices to ensure all security controls are up to date and functioning properly.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that patch management processes are followed and endpoints are consistently patched.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of endpoint security programs and processes.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and endpoint security solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with EDR tools and endpoint security technologies.
  • Knowledge of patch management processes and practices.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $25 to $35 per hour based on geographic location and experience level.
