About the position

The position involves operating commercial motor vehicles for Southern States Cooperative to deliver various fuel products to customers. The role requires strict adherence to government regulations and company procedures while working independently. The driver will also be responsible for maintaining communication with facility leadership regarding delivery and service operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial motor vehicles to deliver fuel products to customers.
• Adhere to government regulations and company operating procedures.
• Install and maintain related equipment at customer sites as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with facility leadership regarding delivery dispatching and service of fuel products.
• Provide updates on equipment condition, account issues, and supply of materials.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Previous experience operating a commercial motor vehicle to deliver refined fuel products is preferred.
• Requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Requires Hazardous Materials Endorsement.
• May require Tanker Endorsement.

Nice-to-haves
