About the position

The Molykote Global Label and Packaging Specialist role is designed to ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding product labeling. This position supports the shipment of E&I products and manages the development of customized labels in both ERP systems and with external agencies. The specialist acts as a subject matter expert, ensuring that the labeling and packaging strategies align with corporate goals while minimizing risks associated with non-compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of label and packaging solutions focusing on standardization, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Propose label and packaging strategies and advise on new labels and major modifications.
  • Create and manage a governance process for evaluating label change requests based on complexity and value.
  • Communicate SAP label changes and share best practices across business units.
  • Review and disseminate regulatory requirements for finished product labeling projects.
  • Manage and prioritize SAP labeling enhancements from business users.
  • Serve as the primary contact for corporate label management IT resources.
  • Understand data sources for label templates to support updates.
  • Answer business inquiries regarding label formats, including font size and layout.
  • Build relationships with Labeling Key Users and act as a Label Key User for third-party warehouses.
  • Validate labeling capabilities in response to customer requests and business changes.
  • Assist in artwork and branding changes at both business unit and enterprise levels.
  • Participate in integration and regression testing for labeling projects.
  • Support label projects as a Project Manager, overseeing development, testing, and implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on business or operational expertise in an SAP environment, preferably SAP EHS/GLM+.
  • Chemical industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both local and English languages.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Artwork expertise in Adobe Illustrator, PDF Writer, and MS Publisher.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
