About the position

The position involves extracting data and generating reports that assist in performance tracking and decision-making. Responsibilities include data validation, cleansing, profiling, baseline development, and defining scenarios to model. The role requires calculating labor, equipment, facility, and expense requirements based on transportation and warehousing design assumptions, developing process flows, concepts of operations, and value propositions consistent with the win strategy, and collaborating with IT to develop system concepts. Additionally, the position entails coordinating with Pricing and other functions to develop cost and pricing models, analyzing logistics operations, and building decision support systems. The candidate will conduct research as needed to respond to customer requests, provide suggestions, and implement plans to improve business processes, while identifying value-creation opportunities for the company. The role also involves developing and implementing solutions using both existing technology and the latest technologies such as RFID and sophisticated optimization algorithms, and participating in additional projects to support ongoing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Extract data and generate reports for performance tracking and decision-making
• Perform data validation, cleansing, profiling, and baseline development

Requirements

• 0 - 2 years of experience preferably within a large volume durable consumer goods industry
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering
• Experience or specialization within supply chain / operations research
• Ability to use design applications, tools, techniques, and methodologies for complex transportation and warehousing networks
• Familiarity with simulation tools, transportation & warehouse management systems, ERPs, Automation, MHE, and Visibility Tools
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and various database applications
• Data organization and purification skills
• High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance oriented
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and creative problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
• Effective organizational and time management skills
