The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system. This role requires a strong ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively, as well as the capability to identify, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements. The position involves direct supervision of staff to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and to replace defective components when necessary. Additionally, the engineer will review and approve the planning and implementation of network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware, as well as the design, configuration, and testing of computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software. Monitoring network performance and advising the organization on necessary adjustments will also be key responsibilities.
