About the position
C2 Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated English/History Tutor to join our team on a part-time basis. Our mission is to provide quality education and support to students, helping them to achieve their academic goals. As a tutor, you will play a crucial role in guiding students through their learning journey, utilizing our proprietary curriculum tailored to meet individual needs. You will work with small groups of students, ensuring that each one receives the attention and support they need to excel in their studies. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to choose hours that fit your lifestyle, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing student progress, providing feedback, and adjusting your teaching methods to suit the learning styles of your students. You will also participate in team-based activities, collaborating with fellow educators to enhance the overall tutoring experience. Responsibilities
- Tutor students in small groups (maximum of 3 students).
- Tailor C2's proprietary curriculum in SAT, ACT, AP, and school subjects to meet students' needs.
- Track and analyze student progress.
- Perform team-based activities as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher is required.
- Ability to teach in-person is required.
- Score at the 95th percentile on our diagnostic SAT or ACT test.
- AP-level knowledge in at least one or more subjects preferred.
- A clear background check is necessary.
- No previous teaching experience required, but a strong passion for education and students is essential.
