Responsibilities

  • Provides direct oversight of the initial Enrollment Strategy outlined and oversees the assigned Benefit Account Manager to help facilitate maximum enrollment success in our voluntary benefit program.
  • Coaches and mentors the direct staff, including taking a collaborative approach creating an inclusive environment which in turn energizes the team and allows creativity.
  • Communicates any challenges or roadblocks to the Director of Enrollment and Sales Rep if necessary to allow for open discussion on any creative solutions to assist in the active enrollment phase.
  • Oversees all education of product to client's Management Staff, including updating all presentations with approved content.
  • Complete daily task lists to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met (document in the applicable database/software platform).
  • Map out all Benefit Counselor's schedule for active Onsite, Virtual or hybrid enrollments.
  • Confirm all training, licensing and appointments are completed and are compliant before Benefit Counselors are assigned to an enrollment.
  • Review and confirm all marketing deliverables are up to date for distribution to clients.
  • Periodically audit Benefit Account Manager's active enrollment touchpoints with the client; ensuring relationships are open and the enrollment is on track with defined goals.
  • Partner closely with Director of Enrollment on establishing processes and procedures to remain compliant with all governing Federal, State and local regulations and provide follow-through on all current procedures currently in place.
  • Monitor and measure the progress of enrollments by analyzing reporting metrics. Confirm all data is correct before final reporting call with client.
  • Inspire and guide team towards success.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have an active Life and Health Insurance License.
  • Must be proactive and detail oriented.
  • If required, travel to client sites and work within a variety of employer industries.
  • Must have strong Microsoft Excel Skills (pivot tables, formulas, conditional formatting, v-lookups).
  • Must possess strong customer orientation and focus.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively using both verbal and written skills.
