About the position
The Enterprise Architect Consultant role focuses on leveraging technology and innovation to help financial services clients, including those in banking, capital markets, and insurance, redefine their enterprise architectures. The position involves collaborating with business and technology leaders to develop and implement strategies that drive business value and manage IT complexity. The consultant will utilize industry-leading architecture principles to influence clients' technology agendas and support large-scale transformations.
Responsibilities
- Support in positioning Accenture as trusted advisors to business and technology leaders defining and implementing enterprise architectures that drive business value.
- Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to design and implement enterprise architecture strategies, operating models, and roadmaps.
- Analyze existing client architectures and define architectural options based on insights.
- Drive decision-making processes to determine priorities for change and plan the architecture transformation journey.
- Understand industry dynamics and technology trends to recommend changes to existing enterprise architectures.
- Apply Enterprise Architecture assets, frameworks, patterns, and governance to create artifacts such as blueprints and roadmaps.
- Support large scale technology transformation to deliver business value through the evolution and management of enterprise architectures.
- Manage workstreams or small teams and take ownership for producing project deliverables.
- Establish strong working relationships with primary client contacts and support senior resources in identifying client opportunities.
- Lead client meetings and drive to insight, decisions, and actions.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience defining and implementing enterprise architectures.
- Minimum 2 years of experience creating roadmaps and developing business cases.
- Minimum 1 year experience in planning/structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing architecture recommendations.
- Minimum 1 year experience as an external consultant or in an internal client/customer supporting role.
- Bachelor's Degree.
Nice-to-haves
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
- Deep functional or industry experience in specific Enterprise Architecture components.
- Previous consulting experience helping clients with Enterprise Architecture strategy and/or implementation.
- Ability to develop practical roadmaps that support the enablement of technology transformation.
