About the position
The Enterprise Planning Product Analyst at Mars will play a crucial role in the Digital Supply Chain Transformation, focusing on enhancing end-to-end planning digital capabilities, particularly with OMP for Royal Canin. This position involves collaborating with key business stakeholders to identify and solve existing business problems through digital solutions, while also providing external thought leadership to support the team.
Responsibilities
- Operate globally within the Petcare Segment, partnering with business leaders to define and manage high-value IT products and digital initiatives.
- Collaborate across regions with IT peers to develop robust capabilities and partner closely with Business Supply Chain Teams.
- Identify and codify business problems into technical requirements or functional specs.
- Lead IT projects centrally across a roadmap of portfolio activities, including discovery, prototyping, pilot, and minimum viable product (MVP) stages.
- Partner closely with business Product Owners and Functional Experts to deliver assigned projects.
- Bring external insights and trends to influence business transformation at Mars.
- Partner with Tier 1 and niche Tier 2 vendor partners to deliver projects and new capability activities.
- Maintain financial diligence, ensuring alignment with Mars' strategic goals.
Requirements
- Up to 5 years experience in delivering IT capabilities within a business function, preferably in supply chain planning in the CPG industry.
- Proven technical awareness of new digital platforms, with exposure to DevOps, Platform Architecture, Automation, Integration, and Software (OMP, Kinaxis, BY, S4/SAP).
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to navigate a complex and matrixed organizational landscape.
